Tutorial: How To Achieve A Longer And Thicker Eyelashes?

I am frustrated with my eyelashes because they are thin and short. I used to have trouble in doing the proper make up for my eye. But since I had make up education, I got to know the proper way and as I go along I have my own technique based on what looks good on me and what's comfortable for me. My every day eye lashes kinda look like what I did in the diagram below. It's so simple and looks natural. If you are comfortable with wearing false lashes for your every day routine then go for it as long as you can pull it off. Here are the steps.

1. As you can see in this photo my lashes are short and thin that's why I do not like them. Most women prefer their lashes to be long and thick because it helps open up the eyes.

2. I begin with applying eyeliner pencil to the upper waterline to darken the base of my eyelashes making them appear thicker. If you don’t find it too harsh you can do this to the lower waterline as well. But personally I always prefer to just apply white eyeliner pencil on my lower waterline for a fresh look and for my eyes to look bigger. To enhance the lashes even more add a small amount under the eye coming in 1/2 of the way.

3. I curl my lashes and I want to achieve a more natural curl and to do this I begin by placing the curler at the base of my eyelashes and hold for 3 seconds. Next, I move the curler out to the middle of my lashes and hold for 3 seconds and then repeat on the tip of my lashes.

4. Lastly, I apply 2-3 coats of mascaras and make sure that my lashes do not get tangled. There are different types of mascaras. There is one that's designed to thicken lashes and the one that is designed to add extra length and volume or lengthen lashes.
