Review: NYX 'Extra Creamy' Round Lipstick in Thalia and Paris

Okay so let me start with the description of the NYX extra creamy round lipstick from the NYX website.

"NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick is our classic lipstick for all-year round. The mineral-based emollient formula offers a beautiful velvet texture, saturated color and it resist wear and smudging. It's your go-to lipstick. from Pure Nude to Pink Lyric to Chic Red, Extra Creamy Round Lipstick is available in a jaw-dropping 124 shades."

Wow! 124 shades? Did you digest that? Hmmm but so far, I got 2 shades. I might buy some more in the future but let me first review these two shades that a good friend gave me on my birthday. She bought it from the NYX store in SM Megamall. NYX 'Extra Creamy' Round Lipstick in Thalia is I think an adorable colour from NYX because it's pinky-nude and can be paired with any bold eyeshadow make up look. The NYX 'Extra Creamy' Round Lipstick in Paris has the rose shade which is not too pink and not too light. These two colours are great for everyday use.

I personally love NYX 'Extra Creamy' Round Lipstick because it is smooth and moist. It doesn't dry out my lips so I don't need to apply lip gloss or lip balm anymore. It's not too creamy or shiny but just right. This is my go to lipstick for the moment because it's easy to apply, it glides on smoothly on my lips. Although, this one requires a few more applications to get a nice solid color.

NYX Cosmetics can rival many drug store make up here in the Philippines (and yes, MAC too). It is a US brand which has become popular in the Philippines because it is inexpensive yet the quality is at par with branded make up lines. It is available online through local and international online stores that sell NYX Cosmetics. But, you have to be aware and practice caution when choosing the online shop because there are many of them that sell "fake" make up products.

Here are my PROS and CONS about this product:

PROS

    Great Color Selection
    Convenient Container
    Even Application
    Glossy Finish
    Moisturizing
    Smells good
    Blend able
    Very build-able
    Very affordable
  
CONS

    It wears off easily
    Too watery
    Needs more application to get the nice solid color


I definitely recommend this product. This is really good for personal use but definitely not applicable when applying make up to clients especially on events that requires them to look good for longer hours.
